MMTCA June Newsletter 2018

"However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results."
-Sir Winston Churchill

From over 35 years of full time teaching, combined with over 50 years of Master Choi's experience, I am working on how best to teach and share this art. I am currently arranging for some more permanent sharing of the Academy space. As I have more info and format changes, I will let you know. I am committed to giving the same quality and variety of classes you are used to. I also need to balance out my teaching schedule with my need for the time to help Master Choi with his various writing projects, as well as a few of my own.

MMTCA May Newsletter 2018

“Of course, those with power blaming those without isn't a new thing in the world.”
-Hilari Bell

The glorious Spring has arrived! A great temperature for outside practice, meditation, and walking, enjoy!

Speaking of outside, the schedule for June is the same except that the Tuesday night 12 Animals Class, and Disciple's Practice will be outside at East Fiver Flats Park, starting at 6:00PM. Bring your weapons, sunscreen, bug repellent, water etc. (You may have to plug the meter) I will have a Summer, or July/August schedule, posted in next months newsletter.

The Summer retreat is not working for us this year. Wild Rice will be fully operational by next year and we will go on retreat then.

We will be closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.

Book suggestion- The Book of Tao and Te translated by Gu Zhengkun

I am working on three books at the same time, one on A.T.C. Pierson, a revised, expanded edition of Real Gold, and Master Choi's new 12 Animal book. Stay tuned! If you bought my book from Lulu, please write a review!

Thank you to my substitute teachers who fill in for me when I'm traveling. All good reports on you!!

Breath deeply,

P.S. There are new videos being uploaded to the website now and then...

“Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates.
At the first gate, ask yourself, ‘Is it true?’
At the second ask, ‘Is it necessary?’
At the third gate ask ‘Is it kind?”
