Can you feel it? It seems Winter is loosening its grip, at
least I’m hoping so!
Our schedule will be the same for the rest of the Winter and
into the Spring. I’ll have a schedule change when we go to our outside classes.
For now, here is the schedule:
2nd and 4th Mondays, 630-730PM= zoom
Pushing-Hands class
Tuesdays 6-8PM=in-person class at St Sahag
Wednesday 630-730PM= zoom solo form class
Thursdays 6-8PM=in-person class at St Sahag with zoom option
Saturdays 900-1030AM= in-person class at St Sahag
We had a great Chinese New Year Demo and Banquet. I’m
encouraged and planning for next year. Julie helped considerably and took
charge of many aspects of this year’s celebration. And she reminded me that she
just had her 26th year anniversary studying Tai-Chi! Thank you to
all the demonstrators, you did a great job with such short notice. Thank you
for the red envelopes and for dinner! Check out the highlights reel on my
Patreon page.

-2 Advanced Pushing-Hands Drills: Willow #2, and Short
Power.
-Two-Person Cane Form.

I will also have programs and presentations for the evenings.
I need a deposit (refundable) of 300 dollars by May 1st. The Center has a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20. If we have
enough people to make this a go, I’ll expect the balance by August 1st.
I’ll be arranging rides for the out-of-town people and will coordinate carpools
for the locals.
Paul Brennen has done an amazing job translating Chinese
Martial Arts books into English. Each newsletter, I’m going to suggest a book
either by one of Master Liang’s teachers, or Master Choi’s teachers, or authors in our direct lineage and martial arts family. This month is a book by Master Liang’s
first Long Form teacher, Li Shou-chien, the inspiration for my new t-shirts.
Master Li learned from Yang Shao-hou, and the monk Miao Lien.
