MMTCA Newsletter May 2019

"This is the reality we live: aspiring to be at our best, longing for and sometimes finding meaning and connection within ourselves and with that which is larger than ourselves, we are undone by messy bathrooms, traffic jams, and burnt toast."
-Oriah  Mountain-Dreamer

Happy May! And Happy Mayday! I am looking forward to outside practice, hikes, and enjoying our beautiful state!

Our schedule remains the same until July. I'll have more info on our possible new home.

Two students finished the 72 Movement Medium Form: Eric Norberg and Eric Johnson. Congratulations! Many have started...

Two of my personal disciples, Fred Sparks and John Stitely finished the rare Hsing-Yi Chuan form, Chut Yu Lin Ji or 7 Halberds Strung Like Pearls. I am the only student to learn this form from Master Wai-lun Choi and they are now part of a few who have learned it from me. Congratulations!!

And speaking of two disciples, Karen Barton and Margo Bock learned the Double Dagger Form from the Fan-Tzi Eagle Claw kung-fu style I learned from the late Sifu Lo Man-biu. Congratulations!
