MMTCA December Newsletter 2022

“When you move slower than the world, and breathe more deeply than the world, you awaken a consciousness beyond any world.”

-Matt Kahn

My Massachusetts seminar last month was a great success! I met old friends and made new connections. Big THANKS to Sifu Richard, Sensei Jeff, Rob, Christine, and Read for making this dream into reality. I plan to go back next June. I’ll post one of the sessions on Patreon.

We’ve hit a SNAFU with our t-shirts! I’ll keep you posted about how to get our new shirts and products, when they become available. Sad face here…

Beginning in January I’ll be streaming my Thursday night classes live on zoom as I lead class in person. Let me know if you are interested in joining online.

As I close out 2022, I’d like to take this space to thank you for your support, encouragement, appreciation, practice, and dedication. Even though the pandemic seems to be on the downside, the effects, caution, fear, and worry are still real. I do hope to see you back in class when you feel safe enough.

This year I’ve had a couple of serious encounters with people suffering from BPD. I learned a lot, even when it was the most painful and hurtful. Your support through these trying times, together with my daily practice, kept me healthy and sane! Namaste and thank you.

I’m excited to be on this Tai-Chi journey with you all. I'm still as excited to practice today as I was when I began 42 years ago! Thank you for a magical 2022 and Year of the Tiger. I look forward to 2023 and the Year of the Rabbit.

I bow to the ground,

-Sifu Ray
